28 Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'I am about to give this city into the hands of the Chaldeans, into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will capture it.'
29 The Chaldeans who are fighting against the city will enter it, set it on fire, and burn it along with the houses where incense was offered to Baal on their rooftops and drink offerings were poured out to other gods, provoking Me to anger.
31 From the day it was built until now, this city has caused My anger and My wrath so great that I must remove it from My presence.
32 It is because of all the evil that the sons of Israel and the sons of Judah have done to provoke Me to anger. Their kings, princes, priests, prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem have all been guilty.
13 Then My anger will be fully spent, and I will satisfy My fury on them and be appeased. They will know that I, the LORD, have spoken in My zeal when I have spent My wrath upon them.
6 So my fury and my anger poured out and burned in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, making them a desolate ruin, as they are today.
10 For I have set my face against this city for disaster and not for good, declares the LORD. It will be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, who will burn it with fire.
8 'Then the Chaldeans will return and fight against this city; they will capture it and burn it with fire.'

35 May the violence done to me and my flesh be upon Babylon, says the inhabitant of Zion. May my blood be on the inhabitants of Chaldea, says Jerusalem.
25 The LORD has opened His armory and brought out the weapons of His wrath, for the Sovereign LORD of Hosts has a task to accomplish in the land of the Chaldeans.

35 A sword is against the Chaldeans, declares the LORD, against the inhabitants of Babylon, against her officials and wise men.

11 Therefore, this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Behold, I have set my face against you for harm, to cut off all Judah.

14 They have blown the trumpet and prepared everything, but no one goes out to battle, for my anger is against all their multitude.
15 For I am summoning all the clans and kingdoms of the north,' declares the LORD. 'They will come, and each will set up his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, around all her walls, and against all the cities of Judah.
16 And the people to whom they are prophesying will be thrown into the streets of Jerusalem because of famine and sword. There will be no one to bury them—them, their wives, their sons, or their daughters. I will pour out their wickedness upon them.
3 For a nation has come against her from the north; it will make her land desolate. No one will live there—neither man nor beast—all will flee and be gone.
