  • 5 Pharaoh's army had marched out of Egypt, and when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard the report about them, they withdrew from the city.

  • 10 Writhe in pain and groan, Daughter Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city and camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the LORD will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

  • 9 This is what the LORD says: Do not deceive yourselves, thinking, 'The Chaldeans will surely leave us,' for they will not leave.
