    7If you are righteous, what do you give to Him, or what does He receive from your hand?

    8Your wickedness affects only a person like yourself, and your righteousness only a child of humanity.

  • 8You have bound me up as a witness; my gauntness rises up and testifies against me.

  • 8For God is the judge; he brings one down and lifts another up.

  • 6You have condemned and murdered the righteous person, who does not resist you.

  • 11Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them; they will be repaid for their deeds.

  • 20Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—one that brings about trouble under the guise of law?

  • 5But now it has come to you, and you are weary; it touches you, and you are troubled.

  • 6The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the treacherous are trapped by their own desires.
