  • 16How much less is a man, who is detestable and corrupt, one who drinks iniquity like water!

  • 12In you, they accept bribes to shed blood; they take interest and increase unlawfully. You have gained profit in extorting your neighbors, and you have forgotten me, declares the Sovereign LORD.

  • 11Are the consolations of God too trivial for you, or a word spoken gently with you?

  • 17But your eyes and heart are set only on your dishonest gain, on shedding innocent blood, and on oppression and violence.
