11 What is my strength, that I should hope? What is my end, that I should prolong my life?
12 Is my strength the strength of stones? Is my flesh made of bronze?
11 For through me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.
2 Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness. You have given me relief when I was in trouble. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
8 Would you indeed annul My justice? Would you condemn Me that you may be justified?
10 Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am in distress. My eyes grow weak with sorrow, as do my soul and my body.
1 Man, born of a woman, is short-lived and full of trouble.
17 Your life will shine brighter than noonday; its darkness will be like the morning.
8 For if a person lives many years, let him rejoice in all of them, but let him remember the days of darkness, for they will be many. All that comes is meaningless.
