When Naaman saw someone running after him, he got down from his chariot to meet him and asked, 'Is everything all right?' 22 Gehazi replied, 'Everything is all right. My master has sent me to say, “Two young men from the company of the prophets in the hill country of Ephraim have just come to me. Please give them a talent of silver and two sets of clothes.”' 23 Naaman said, 'Please take two talents.' Then he sent the men away, and they left. 25 When Gehazi went inside and stood before his master, Elisha asked him, 'Where have you been, Gehazi?' The silver and gold are a freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your ancestors.' 29 Be diligent and guard them until you weigh them out in the presence of the leading priests, the Levites, and the leaders of the families of Israel in Jerusalem, within the chambers of the house of the LORD. 30 So the priests and the Levites received the weight of the silver, gold, and vessels to bring them to Jerusalem, to the house of our God. 31 Then we set out from the Ahava River on the twelfth day of the first month to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was upon us, and He delivered us from the hand of the enemy and from ambushes along the way. 32 We arrived in Jerusalem and rested there for three days. 33 On the fourth day, the silver, gold, and vessels were weighed out in the house of our God into the care of Meremoth son of Uriah the priest, along with Eleazar son of Phinehas. They were assisted by Jozabad son of Jeshua and Noadiah son of Binnui, the Levites. 34 Everything was verified by number and weight, and the total weight was recorded at that time.
