3For you are still carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?
12For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God; you have come to need milk and not solid food.
13For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.
14But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
1Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a servant, though he is lord of all;
2But is under guardians and managers until the time appointed by the father.
3Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the basic principles of the world:
14As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts in your ignorance;
2Surely I have calmed and quieted myself, like a child weaned from his mother: my soul is like a weaned child.
10Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh, for childhood and youth are vanity.
2And Jesus called a little child to him, and set him in the midst of them,
3And said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted and become like little children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven.
4Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

14But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
17Truly I say to you, whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall by no means enter therein.
15Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall not enter it.
11Even a child is known by his deeds, whether his work is pure and right.
15Let us, therefore, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think differently, God will reveal even this to you.
6Even though I am unskilled in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly revealed among you in all things.
22That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
10And have put on the new self, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him who created him.
6Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
15And that from childhood you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? those who are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
28And now, little children, abide in him, that when he appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
15I speak to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say.
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
