21What will you say when he shall punish you? For you have taught them to be captains, and as chief over you: shall sorrows not take hold of you, as a woman in labor?
28Then I will walk contrary to you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
10It is my desire that I should discipline them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they bind themselves in their two furrows.
39And I will for this afflict the offspring of David, but not forever.
18And if you will not yet for all this listen to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

11Now hear me therefore, and return the captives, whom you have taken captive of your brethren, for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you.
21And if you walk contrary to me, and will not listen to me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
2Thus says the LORD to me; Make bonds and yokes, and put them upon your neck,
26And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
17For behold, I will send serpents, vipers, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, says the LORD.
11My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD; nor be weary of his correction:
23And if you will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary to me;
24Then will I also walk contrary to you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
13Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
15But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
12How can I alone bear your problems, your burdens, and your complaints?

7And they spoke to him, saying, If you will be a servant to this people today, and serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be your servants forever.
5You shall also consider in your heart, that, as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.
14For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
18I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bull not accustomed to the yoke: turn me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God.
12When they go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down like the birds of the sky; I will chastise them, as their congregation has heard.
12Nevertheless in your days I will not do it for David your father's sake: but I will tear it out of the hand of your son.
8And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation I will punish, says the LORD, with the sword, and with famine, and with pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
17But as for the children of Israel who dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.
