5 Whose owners slay them and hold themselves not guilty. And those who sell them say, 'Blessed be the LORD, for I am rich.' And their own shepherds do not pity them.
6 For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD. But behold, I will deliver every man into his neighbor's hand, and into the hand of his king. They shall strike the land, and I will not deliver them out of their hand.
4 Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they do not know the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.
16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and you walk in their counsels, that I may make you a desolation, and the inhabitants a hissing; therefore you shall bear the reproach of My people.

13 Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

9 Then he said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD does not see.
8 For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
11 The leaders judge for reward, and the priests teach for hire, and the prophets divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? No harm can come upon us.
