17But you shall utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD your God has commanded you:
18That they teach you not to do according to all their abominations, which they have done for their gods; so you would sin against the LORD your God.
21He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
3And Israel joined himself to Baal of Peor, and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.

30Take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you; and that you do not enquire after their gods, asking, How did these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.
31You shall not do so to the LORD your God, for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods; for they have even burned their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
23Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make for yourselves a carved image, or the likeness of anything, which the LORD your God has forbidden you.
17And you have seen their abominations, and their idols of wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)
16And I looked, and, behold, you had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made for yourselves a molten calf: you had quickly turned aside out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.

19And lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD your God has divided to all nations under the whole heaven.
15For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from the camp, until they were consumed.
4Because they did not meet you with bread and water on the way, when you came out of Egypt; and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.
16For all who do such things, and all who act unrighteously, are an abomination to the LORD your God.
20He who sacrifices to any god, except to the LORD only, shall be utterly destroyed.
16When you have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.
2And when the LORD your God shall deliver them before you; you shall strike them, and utterly destroy them; you shall make no covenant with them, nor show mercy to them:
5And what He did for you in the wilderness, until you came to this place;
34Or has God attempted to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand, by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
17You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
