28And not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a sign of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.
20For this reason, therefore, I have called for you, to see you and speak with you, because for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
2But I plead with you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence by which I think to be bold against some who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
13Whom I wished to keep with me, so that he might minister to me in your place in my chains for the gospel:
30Having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear to be in me.
11To which I am appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
17Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in what pertains to God.
18For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in making the Gentiles obedient by word and deed,
15So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are at Rome also.
