2 And know this day: for I speak not with your children who have not known or seen the discipline of the LORD your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm,
4 One generation shall praise your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against You.
8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it forever. Selah.
8 For inquire, I pray you, of the former age, and prepare yourself to the search of their fathers:
19 The living, the living, he shall praise You, as I do this day: the father shall make known Your truth to the children.

13 So we, Your people and the sheep of Your pasture, will thank You forever; we will show forth Your praise to all generations.
29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
24 For shame has devoured the labor of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
25 We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covers us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.
