Verse 26

'Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. There it will remain as a witness against you.

Therefore, My wrath is kindled against this place, and it will not be quenched.’ 18 As for the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, you shall say to him: ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Regarding the words you have heard, 19 Because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I spoke against this place and its inhabitants—that they would become a desolation and a curse—and because you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you, declares the LORD.
