10The LORD spoke through His servants the prophets, saying:
38Yet He, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. Time and again, He restrained His anger and did not stir up His full wrath.
2The people of Bethel sent Sharezer, Regem-melech, and their men to seek the favor of the LORD.
38And when they return to You with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and they pray toward the land You gave to their ancestors, the city You have chosen, and the house I have built for Your name,
39then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications. Uphold their cause and forgive Your people who have sinned against You.

23But the LORD was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. To this day He has been unwilling to destroy them or banish them from His presence.
4But in their trouble, they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, sought Him, and He was found by them.

26But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, this is what you shall say to him: 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:

6For our ancestors were unfaithful and did what was evil in the sight of the LORD our God. They abandoned Him, turned their backs on His dwelling place, and walked away.
32It is because of all the evil that the sons of Israel and the sons of Judah have done to provoke Me to anger. Their kings, princes, priests, prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem have all been guilty.
15The anger of the LORD burned against Amaziah, and he sent a prophet to him, who said, 'Why do you consult these gods, which could not save their own people from your hand?'
25then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land You gave to them and to their ancestors.
20Therefore, the anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and he said, 'Because this nation has violated the covenant I commanded their ancestors and has not listened to my voice,'
9If you return to the LORD, your brothers and your children will be shown compassion by those who took them captive, and they will return to this land. For the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
5Then I said, 'Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments,
