13Now, because you have done all these things, declares the LORD, and though I spoke to you persistently, you did not listen, and though I called you, you did not answer,
15I sent all My servants the prophets to you persistently, saying: 'Turn now, each one of you, from your evil ways and correct your deeds. Do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you shall dwell in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.' But you did not incline your ear or listen to Me.
22For when I brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak to them or command them concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices.
23But this is what I commanded them: Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you, so that it may go well with you.
