    3But Peter said, 'Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds from the land?

    4'Did it not remain yours while it was unsold? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to people, but to God.'

    5When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and died. And great fear came upon all who heard about it.

    6The young men arose, wrapped his body, carried him out, and buried him.

    39So Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they took him to the upstairs room. All the widows stood around him weeping and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was with them.

    40Peter sent everyone out of the room, then knelt down and prayed. Turning toward the body, he said, "Tabitha, arise." She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

    41Peter gave her his hand and helped her up. Then he called the saints and the widows and presented her to them alive.
