Then you shall dwell in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.' But you did not incline your ear or listen to Me.
2Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the LORD has spoken: "I have raised children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against Me.
7I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and its bounty. But you came and defiled my land. You made my inheritance detestable.
8The priests did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD?’ Those who handle the law did not know me; the shepherds rebelled against me; the prophets prophesied by Baal and followed worthless things.
9Therefore I will still bring charges against you, declares the LORD, and against your children’s children I will bring charges.
18He said to the Israelites, 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: "I brought Israel up from Egypt and rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hands of all the kingdoms oppressing you."'
28And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.
25From the day your ancestors came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I sent all my servants the prophets to you, again and again.
11My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand in His presence, to serve Him, and to minister to Him, and to burn incense.

2Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem: ‘This is what the LORD says: I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.
3Israel was holy to the LORD, the firstfruits of his harvest. All who tried to devour it were held guilty; disaster came upon them,’ declares the LORD.
4Hear the word of the LORD, house of Jacob, and all the clans of the house of Israel.
5This is what the LORD says: ‘What fault did your ancestors find in me that they strayed so far from me? They pursued worthless idols and became worthless themselves.

28Did I not choose them from all the tribes of Israel to be My priests, to go up to My altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in My presence? And I gave to your forefather’s family all the offerings made by fire from the Israelites.
15The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people. You must listen to him.
6Then Samuel said to the people, 'It is the LORD who appointed Moses and Aaron and who brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt.'
2Know today that it was not your children, who did not know and have not seen, but you who witnessed the discipline of the LORD your God—His greatness, His strong hand, and His outstretched arm.
