7 Nevertheless, listen now to this word I am speaking in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
15 Instead, they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives who brought the Israelites up from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had scattered them.' For I will restore them to the land I gave to their ancestors.
2 The captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said to him, 'The LORD your God foretold this calamity against this place.'
3 And now the LORD has brought it about and done as He said. Because you sinned against the LORD and did not obey His voice, this has happened to you.
10 They are prophesying lies to you, and the result will be that I will drive you far from your land, and you will perish.
24 I set a trap for you, Babylon, and you were caught before you knew it. You were found and captured because you challenged the LORD.
7 Seek the welfare of the city where I have exiled you and pray to the LORD on its behalf, because its welfare determines your welfare.
11 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
12 Say to the rebellious house, ‘Do you not understand what these things mean? Tell them: The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and officials, and brought them back with him to Babylon.
18 If they are indeed prophets and if the word of the LORD is with them, let them pray earnestly to the LORD of Hosts that the articles remaining in the house of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem will not be taken to Babylon.
19 For this is what the LORD of Hosts says concerning the pillars, the bronze sea, the stands, and the rest of the articles that remain in this city,
14 This is what the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: 'For your sake, I will send to Babylon and bring down as fugitives all of them, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.'
8 Therefore, this is what the LORD of Hosts says: 'Because you have not listened to my words—
15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, 'Listen now, Hananiah, the LORD has not sent you, but you have led this people to trust in falsehood.'
15 Their king will go into exile, he and his princes together,' says the LORD.
3 For behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel and Judah, says the LORD, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their ancestors, and they will possess it.
13 I have raised him up in righteousness and I will make all his ways straight. He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, not for a price or reward, says the LORD of Hosts.
10 The Lord has brought about our vindication. Come, let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.
11 'I raised up prophets from among your sons and Nazirites from your young men. Is this not true, people of Israel?' declares the LORD.
9 This is why our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons, daughters, and wives are in captivity today.
14 The visions of your prophets were false and empty; they did not expose your iniquity to restore your fortunes. Instead, they saw false and misleading oracles for you.
7 You have even appointed prophets to proclaim on your behalf in Jerusalem, saying, 'There is a king in Judah!' Now this report will get back to the king. So come, let us consult together."
12 Raise a banner against the walls of Babylon! Strengthen the guard, post the watchmen, prepare ambushes, for the Lord has planned and carried out what He purposed against the inhabitants of Babylon.
11 Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, whom you now fear. Do not be afraid of him, declares the LORD, for I am with you to save you and deliver you from his hand.
12 I will show you compassion so that he will have mercy on you and restore you to your land.
9 The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
15 I sent all My servants the prophets to you persistently, saying: 'Turn now, each one of you, from your evil ways and correct your deeds. Do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you shall dwell in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.' But you did not incline your ear or listen to Me.
20 At that time, I will bring you in; at the time I gather you. For I will make you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes, says the LORD.
