25They captured fortified cities and fertile land. They took possession of houses filled with every good thing, hewn cisterns, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. They ate, were satisfied, grew fat, and delighted themselves in Your great goodness.
9They said, 'Let us go up against them, for we have seen the land and it is very good. Why are you hesitating? Do not delay in going to take possession of the land!'
10When you arrive, you will find a secure and unsuspecting people. The land is spacious, for God has given it into your hands—a place lacking nothing that is good.
7For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with streams of water, springs, and deep waters flowing out in valleys and hills.
8A land of wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil, and honey.
11So our elders and all the inhabitants of our land told us, ‘Take provisions for the journey and go to meet them. Tell them: We are your servants; now make a treaty with us.’
15You provided bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water out of a rock for their thirst. You told them to go in and take possession of the land You had sworn to give them.
7Turn and set out on your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all their neighbors—the Arabah, the hill country, the lowlands, the Negev, and the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.
8See, I have set the land before you. Go and take possession of the land that the LORD swore to give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and to their descendants after them.
23But He brought us out from there to lead us in and give us the land that He swore to our fathers.

14What's more, you haven't brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor have you given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Do you intend to gouge out the eyes of these men? We will not come!"
24They said to Joshua, "The LORD has surely given the whole land into our hands; all the inhabitants of the land are melting in fear because of us."
8Therefore, keep the words of this covenant and do them, so that you may prosper in all that you do.
17For the LORD our God is the one who brought us and our ancestors up out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. He performed great signs before our eyes, protected us along the entire way we traveled, and among all the peoples through whom we journeyed.
39And the little ones you said would be taken as plunder—your children who do not yet know good from evil—they will enter the land. I will give it to them, and they will take possession of it.
