11Be ashamed, you farmers; wail, you vinekeepers, for the wheat and the barley, because the harvest of the field has perished.
12The vine is dried up, and the fig tree withers; the pomegranate, the palm, and the apple tree—all the trees of the field are dried up. Indeed, joy has withered away from the people.
13Put on sackcloth and mourn, you priests; wail, you ministers of the altar. Come, spend the night in sackcloth, you who minister to my God, for grain offerings and drink offerings are withheld from the house of your God.
17I struck you—all the work of your hands— with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to me—this is the declaration of the LORD.
10Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord of Hosts, and see if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
11I will rebuke the devourer for your sake, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your ground. Your vine in the field will not fail to bear fruit, says the Lord of Hosts.
19I will break your stubborn pride and make your sky like iron and your land like bronze.
20Your strength will be spent in vain, because your land will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of the land yield their fruit.

13But you have planted wickedness, reaped injustice, and eaten the fruit of deception. Because you trusted in your own way and in your many warriors,
17If any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, they will have no rain.
15"If He holds back the waters, they dry up; if He sends them out, they overwhelm the earth."
10Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors so you would not light useless fires on my altar! I am not pleased with you, says the LORD of Hosts, and I will not accept any offerings from your hands.
