3 Surely this came upon Judah by the command of the LORD, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh and all he had done.

22 Behold, I am giving a command, declares the Lord, and I will bring them back to this city. They will fight against it, capture it, and burn it with fire. And I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without any inhabitants.
5 Who will have pity on you, Jerusalem? Who will mourn for you? Who will turn aside to ask how you are?
18 I will pursue them with sword, famine, and plague. I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth—a curse and an object of astonishment, scorn, and ridicule among all the nations where I have banished them.
12 'therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I am about to bring such disaster upon Jerusalem and Judah that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle.'
13 I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plumb line of the house of Ahab. I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
14 I will abandon the remnant of My inheritance and give them into the hands of their enemies. They will become plunder and spoil for all their enemies,
15 because they have done what is evil in My sight and have provoked Me to anger since the day their ancestors came out of Egypt until this day.
16 ‘Thus says the LORD: Behold, I am bringing disaster on this place and on its inhabitants—all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read—’
7 In this place, I will ruin the plans of Judah and Jerusalem. I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies and at the hands of those who seek their lives. I will give their dead bodies as food to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the earth.
8 I will make this city desolate and an object of scorn. Everyone who passes by will be appalled and will scoff because of all its wounds.
27 The LORD said, 'I will also remove Judah from my presence as I removed Israel. I will reject this city, Jerusalem, which I chose, and the temple about which I said, ‘My name shall be there.’'
5 'So I will send fire upon Judah, and it will consume the fortresses of Jerusalem.'
32 It is because of all the evil that the sons of Israel and the sons of Judah have done to provoke Me to anger. Their kings, princes, priests, prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem have all been guilty.
16 This is what the Lord of Hosts says: 'Consider and call for the mourning women to come; send for the skilled wailing women to arrive.'
14 This is what the LORD says: 'As for all my evil neighbors who harm the inheritance I gave my people Israel, I will uproot them from their land, and I will uproot the house of Judah from among them.'
4 For this is what the LORD says: 'I am going to make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies while you watch, and I will hand all Judah over to the king of Babylon, who will take them captive to Babylon or kill them by the sword.
5 I will deliver all the wealth of this city, all its products, all its valuable possessions, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah into the hands of their enemies. They will plunder them, take them, and carry them off to Babylon.'
8 Therefore, the wrath of the LORD fell upon Judah and Jerusalem, and He made them an object of horror, devastation, and scorn, as you can see with your own eyes.

9 I am about to send for all the clans of the north,' declares the LORD, 'and for my servant Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and I will bring them against this land, its inhabitants, and all the surrounding nations. I will completely destroy them, making them an object of horror, scorn, and perpetual ruins.
20 Because of the LORD's anger, this happened to Jerusalem and Judah until He cast them out of His presence. And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
11 So the LORD brought against them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria. They captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon.

11 Therefore, this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Behold, I have set my face against you for harm, to cut off all Judah.
15 The LORD will strike Israel as a reed sways in the water. He will uproot Israel from this good land that He gave to their ancestors and scatter them beyond the Euphrates River, because they made Asherah poles, angering the LORD.
7 I have winnowed them with a winnowing fork at the gates of the land; I have bereaved and destroyed My people, yet they have not turned from their ways.
2 Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel: You have seen all the disaster I brought upon Jerusalem and upon all the cities of Judah. Look, they are a ruin today, without anyone living there.
3 This happened because of the LORD's anger toward Jerusalem and Judah, until He finally cast them out of His presence. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
3 'I will cut off the ruler from its midst and kill all its officials with him,' declares the LORD.
15 This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to bring upon this city and all its surrounding towns all the disaster I pronounced against them, because they have stiffened their necks and refused to listen to My words.
4 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says about the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah that have been torn down to defend against the siege ramps and the sword:
14 And I will shatter them, one against another, fathers and sons together,’ declares the LORD. ‘I will show no pity, no compassion, and no mercy to prevent their destruction.’
15 Their king will go into exile, he and his princes together,' says the LORD.
6 For I will no longer show pity to the people of the land,' declares the LORD. 'I will give everyone into the hands of their neighbors and their king. They will crush the land, and I will not deliver them from their power.'
14 For many nations and great kings will make them serve, and I will repay them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.
15 And I will cast you out of my presence, just as I cast out all your brothers, the entire offspring of Ephraim.
31 I will punish him, his descendants, and his servants for their iniquity. I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the people of Judah, all the disaster I have pronounced against them, because they have not listened to me.
7 Afterward, declares the LORD, I will hand over Zedekiah king of Judah, his officials, the people, and those remaining in this city from the plague, the sword, and the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those seeking their lives. He will strike them down with the edge of the sword without pity, without sparing, and without mercy.
