21People have heard my groaning, but there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that you have done it. Bring the day you have announced, so they may become like me.
22Let all their wickedness come before you; deal with them as you have dealt with me because of all my sins. My groans are many, and my heart is faint.
18'For a voice of wailing is heard from Zion: “How devastated we are! We are utterly ashamed, for we have left the land and our dwellings have been cast off.”'
19'Hear the word of the Lord, you women; let your ears receive the words of His mouth. Teach your daughters to wail and one another to mourn.'
7I am worn out from my groaning; all night long I drench my bed with tears and flood my couch with weeping.
