  • Heb 9:15-23 : 15 Therefore, Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that He has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. 16 For where there is a will, it must be established that the death of the one who made it has occurred. 17 For a will takes effect only when someone has died; it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive. 18 This is why even the first covenant was not inaugurated without blood. 19 For when every commandment of the law had been proclaimed by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, along with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, 20 saying, 'This is the blood of the covenant that God has commanded you to follow.' 21 In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels used in worship. 22 Indeed, according to the Law, almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. 23 Therefore, it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves require better sacrifices than these.
  • Heb 13:20-21 : 20 Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21 equip you with every good thing to do His will, working in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • Rev 5:8-9 : 8 When he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of them was holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were slain, and with your blood, you purchased for God people from every tribe, language, people, and nation." 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.
  • Rev 7:9-9 : 9 After this, I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels stood around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures. They fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen!” 13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These people dressed in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” 14 I said to him, 'Sir, you know.' And he said to me, 'These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.' 15 For this reason, they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. The one who sits on the throne will spread his shelter over them. 16 They will no longer hunger or thirst, nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will shepherd them. He will lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
