  • 17Gather all the spoil of that city into its public square and burn the city and all its plunder as a complete offering to the LORD your God. It must remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt.

  • 22For the LORD will not abandon His people for the sake of His great name, because it has pleased the LORD to make you His people.
