7 Therefore, as you abound in everything, in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us, see that you abound in this grace also.
8 I speak not by commandment, but as a test of the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others.

15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, while he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.
16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.
10 But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,
13 While by the evidence of this ministry they glorify God for your professed submission to the gospel of Christ, and for your generous sharing with them, and with all men;
11 For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner, what diligence it produced in you, yes, what clearing of yourselves, yes, what indignation, yes, what fear, yes, what vehement desire, yes, what zeal, yes, what vindication! In all things you have proved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
12 Therefore, though I wrote to you, I did not do it for the sake of him who had done the wrong, nor for the sake of him who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear to you.
22 But you know his proven character, that, as a son with his father, he has served with me in the gospel.
1 Concerning the service to the saints, it is unnecessary for me to write to you:
9 For we are glad when we are weak, and you are strong; and this also we wish, even your perfection.
10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord has given me for edification, and not for destruction.
5 Hearing of your love and faith, which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints;
6 That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
13 For in what way were you inferior to other churches, except that I myself was not burdensome to you? Forgive me this wrong.
5 For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing to see your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
19 Again, do you think that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ, but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edification.
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That you might walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

6 And being ready to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
19 But I urge you all the more to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.
