  • 1 Cor 15:12-34 : 12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen: 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is vain and your faith is also vain. 15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise if in fact the dead do not rise. 16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins. 18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most miserable. 20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For He has put all things under His feet. But when He says 'all things are put under Him,' it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. 29 Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead? 30 And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour? 31 I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me, if the dead do not rise? 'Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.' 33 Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits. 34 Awake to righteousness and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

  • 2 Cor 7:5-6 : 5 For, when we came into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; outside were conflicts, inside were fears. 6 Nevertheless God, who comforts those who are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
  • 2 Cor 11:13-15 : 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder; for Satan himself transforms into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform as ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

  • Gal 1:7-9 : 7 Which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
  • Gal 2:4-6 : 4 And that because of false brethren stealthily brought in, who came in secretly to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: 5 To whom we did not yield submission, no, not for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. 6 But from those who seemed to be something (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me: God accepts no man's person), for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me:
  • Gal 2:14 : 14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews?
  • Gal 3:1-3 : 1 O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been clearly set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only I would learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh?
  • Gal 4:8-9 : 8 However, then, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. 9 But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and beggarly principles, to which you desire again to be in bondage? 10 You observe days, and months, and times, and years. 11 I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain. 12 Brethren, I urge you to become like me, for I became like you: you have not injured me at all. 13 You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first. 14 And my trial which was in my flesh you did not despise or reject, but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. 15 Where then is that blessing you spoke of? For I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes and given them to me. 16 Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? 17 They zealously court you, but not for good; yes, they want to exclude you, that you may have zeal for them. 18 But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always, and not only when I am present with you. 19 My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you, 20 I desire to be present with you now and to change my tone; for I have doubts about you.
  • Gal 5:2-4 : 2 Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if you are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3 For I testify again to every man who is circumcised, that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 Christ has become of no effect to you, whoever among you are justified by the law; you have fallen from grace.

  • Jude 1:3-4 : 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you, exhorting you to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lewdness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Rev 3:15-18 : 15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and do not know that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see.
  • Num 25:6-9 : 6 And behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation and took a javelin in his hand; 8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stopped among the children of Israel. 9 And those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand. 10 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was zealous for my sake among them, that I did not consume the children of Israel in my jealousy.
  • Ezra 9:1-3 : 1 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. 2 For they have taken some of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy seed has mingled with the peoples of those lands. Indeed, the hand of the princes and rulers has been chief in this trespass. 3 And when I heard this thing, I tore my garment and my mantle, and pulled out the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonished.
  • Neh 5:6-9 : 6 And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words. 7 Then I consulted with myself and rebuked the nobles and rulers, and said to them, You are charging interest, each one from his brother. And I called a great assembly against them. 8 And I said to them, According to our ability, we have redeemed our fellow Jews who were sold to the nations; and will you even sell your brethren, or should they be sold to us? Then they were silent and found nothing to answer. 9 Also I said, What you are doing is not good. Should you not walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the nations, our enemies? 10 I likewise, and my brethren and my servants, could demand money and grain from them. I pray you, let us stop this interest. 11 Restore to them, I pray you, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their olive groves, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, the grain, the new wine, and the olive oil, that you are charging them. 12 Then they said, We will restore them, and will require nothing from them; we will do as you say. Then I called the priests and required an oath from them that they would do according to this promise. 13 I also shook out the fold of my garment and said, So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. Even so may he be shaken out and emptied. And all the assembly said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.
  • Neh 13:15-20 : 15 In those days I saw people in Judah treading wine presses on the Sabbath, bringing in sheaves, and loading donkeys, as well as bringing in wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of burdens into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. And I warned them on the day they sold provisions. 16 Men of Tyre also lived there, who brought in fish and all kinds of goods, and sold them on the Sabbath to the children of Judah and in Jerusalem. 17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said to them, What evil thing is this that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day? 18 Did not your fathers do this, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Yet you bring added wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath. 19 So it was, at the gates of Jerusalem as it began to be dark before the Sabbath, that I commanded the gates to be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath. Then I stationed some of my servants at the gates, so that no burdens would be brought in on the Sabbath day. 20 Now the merchants and sellers of all kinds of goods spent the night outside Jerusalem once or twice.
  • Neh 13:23-25 : 23 In those days I also saw Jews who had married women of Ashdod, Ammon, and Moab; 24 and their children spoke half in the language of Ashdod, and could not speak the language of Judah, but spoke according to the language of each people. 25 So I contended with them and cursed them, struck some of them and pulled out their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, You shall not give your daughters as wives to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons or yourselves.

  • 1 Cor 5:1-5 : 1 It is commonly reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that a man has his father's wife. 2 And you are arrogant, and have not rather mourned, so that he who has done this deed might be removed from among you. 3 For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has done this deed, as though I were present. 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 Deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
  • 1 Cor 6:5-7 : 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? No, not one who shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goes to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because you go to law one with another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather allow yourselves to be defrauded?
  • 1 Cor 6:15-18 : 15 Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid. 16 What? Do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? For two, says He, shall be one flesh. 17 But he who is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.
