  • 42 We have transgressed and rebelled, and You have not forgiven.

  • 14 shall we again break your commandments and intermarry with the peoples who commit these abominations? Would you not become so angry with us that you would destroy us completely, leaving no remnant or survivor?

  • 6 let the priests receive it each from their acquaintances, and they shall use it to repair any damage found in the temple.'

  • 3 And now the LORD has brought it about and done as He said. Because you sinned against the LORD and did not obey His voice, this has happened to you.

  • 21 and he cried out to the man of God who had come from Judah, 'This is what the LORD says: Because you have defied the word of the LORD and have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you,

  • 21 "Go and inquire of the LORD for me and for those remaining in Israel and Judah about the words of this scroll that has been found. For great is the LORD's wrath that is poured out on us because our ancestors did not obey the words of the LORD by following everything written in this scroll."

  • 13 But there are many people here, and it is the rainy season, so we cannot stand outside. This matter cannot be resolved in a day or two because we have sinned greatly in this matter.
