15The spiritual person examines all things, but he himself is not subject to being examined by anyone.
16For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
18Let no one deceive themselves. If anyone among you thinks they are wise in this age, let them become foolish so that they may become wise.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written, 'He catches the wise in their craftiness.'
20And again, 'The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.'
21So then, let no one boast in human leaders, for all things are yours—
6Brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your sake, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written. Then you will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over and against another.

9But whoever lacks these qualities is blind and short-sighted, forgetful of the cleansing of their former sins.
7Since no one knows what will happen, who can tell anyone what is to come?
15Let all of us who are mature think this way. And if in anything you think differently, that too God will reveal to you.
12For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
12So then, let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.
17So, if anyone knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.
2If I have the gift of prophecy, understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
9They are all plain to those who understand, and right to those who find knowledge.
7They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not understand what they are saying or what they so confidently affirm.
7Do you look only at outward appearances? If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, let him consider again that just as he belongs to Christ, so also do we.
16So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Even though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
1Now, concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware.
6Even if I am unskilled in speaking, I am not so in knowledge. Indeed, we have made this clear to you in every way and in all things.
9for we were only born yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow.
16I repeat, let no one take me for a fool. But if you do, then tolerate me as you would a fool, so that I too may boast a little.
7Always learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

18and know His will and approve things that are excellent, being instructed from the law,
19and are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those in darkness,
