13 After Saul finished prophesying, he went up to the high place.
12 Early in the morning, Samuel got up to meet Saul, but he was told, 'Saul went to Carmel and has set up a monument in his own honor. Then he turned and went down to Gilgal.'

13 As soon as you enter the city, you will find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. The people will not eat until he arrives because he must bless the sacrifice first. After that, those who have been invited can eat. Go now, for you will find him at this time.
14 So they went up to the city, and as they were entering it, Samuel was coming out toward them on his way up to the high place.
15 Now the LORD had revealed to Samuel the day before Saul came,
10 Saul said to his servant, "Good idea. Let’s go." So they set out for the town where the man of God was.
11 As they were climbing the hill to the town, they met young women coming out to draw water, and they asked them, "Is the seer here?"
18 Saul approached Samuel at the city gate and asked, "Please tell me where the seer's house is."
19 Samuel answered, "I am the seer. Go up ahead of me to the high place, for you will eat with me today. In the morning, I will send you on your way and tell you all that is on your heart.
20 As for the donkeys you lost three days ago, do not worry about them; they have been found. And to whom is all the desire of Israel directed? Is it not to you and your whole family?"
10 Just as he finished offering the burnt sacrifice, Samuel came. Saul went out to meet him and to greet him.
11 Samuel said, "What have you done?" Saul answered, "When I saw that the people were scattering from me, and you did not come within the appointed days, and that the Philistines were assembling at Michmash,
5 Just then, Saul was coming in from the field, following the oxen. He asked, "What is wrong with the people? Why are they all crying?" They told him what the men of Jabesh had said.
22 Finally, Saul himself went to Ramah. He came to the great cistern at Secu and asked, 'Where are Samuel and David?' Someone answered, 'They are at Naioth in Ramah.'
26 They got up early, and at the break of dawn, Samuel called to Saul on the roof, saying, "Get up, and I will send you on your way." So Saul got up, and both he and Samuel went outside together.
27 As they were going down to the outskirts of the town, Samuel said to Saul, "Tell the servant to go on ahead of us"—and the servant went on—"but you stay here for a moment, and I will give you a message from God."
2 Samuel said, "How can I go? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me." The LORD replied, "Take a young cow with you and say, 'I have come to sacrifice to the LORD.'
14 Saul asked her, "What does he look like?" She replied, "An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe." Then Saul knew it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground in reverence.
15 Samuel said to Saul, "Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?" Saul answered, "I am deeply distressed. The Philistines are waging war against me, and God has turned away from me. He no longer answers me, not by prophets or by dreams. Therefore, I have called upon you to tell me what I should do."
10 Then the word of the LORD came to Samuel, saying:
17 Saul said to the men who were with him, 'Muster the troops and see who has left us.' When they counted, they found that Jonathan and his armor-bearer were gone.
18 Saul said to Ahijah, 'Bring the ark of God here.' (At that time it was with the Israelites.)
21 He then brought forward the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, and the family of the Matrites was chosen. Finally, Saul son of Kish was selected, but when they looked for him, he could not be found.
22 So they inquired further of the LORD, 'Has the man come here yet?' And the LORD said, 'He is hiding among the supplies.'
19 Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse, saying, "Send me your son David, who is with the sheep."

7 Then Saul said to his servants, "Find me a woman who is a medium, so I can go and consult her." His servants replied, "There is a woman who is a medium at En-dor."
31 When David's words were heard, they were reported to Saul, and he sent for him.
12 Saul said, 'Listen now, son of Ahitub!' And he replied, 'Here I am, my lord.'
