34 When Your people go out to war against their enemies, wherever You send them, and they pray to You toward this city which You have chosen and the house I have built for Your name,
35 then hear from heaven their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.
42 for they will hear of Your great name, Your mighty hand, and Your outstretched arm. When they come and pray toward this house,
43 then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place, and do according to all the foreigner asks You for, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as do Your people Israel, and may know that this house I have built is called by Your name.
44 When Your people go out to fight against their enemies, wherever You send them, and when they pray to the LORD in the direction of the city You have chosen and the temple I have built for Your name,
45 then hear from heaven their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.
24 If Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and they turn back to You and confess Your name, pray, and make supplication before You in this house,
25 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land You gave to them and to their ancestors.
25 And now, O LORD God, confirm forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and his house, and do as you have spoken.
26 May your name be magnified forever, saying, 'The LORD of hosts is God over Israel,' and may the house of your servant David be established before you.
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build you a house.' Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you.
23 "And now, LORD, let the word you have spoken concerning your servant and his house be established forever. Do as you promised,
24 so that your name will be magnified forever, saying, 'The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, is Israel's God.' And may the house of your servant David be established before you.
25 You, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. That is why your servant has found the courage to pray before you.
26 And now, LORD, you are God, and you have made this good promise concerning your servant.

12 Concerning this house that you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and carry out my ordinances, and keep all my commandments by walking in them, then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.
15 You have kept Your promise to Your servant David, my father. With Your mouth, You spoke it, and with Your hand, You have fulfilled it as it is today.
