50Now I say this, brothers and sisters: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
51Behold, I tell you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
16Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
17For our momentary and light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory that is far beyond comparison.
18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
22For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.
23And not only that, but we ourselves who have the firstfruits of the Spirit—we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

11For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal bodies.
12So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
21In Him the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling place for God in the Spirit.
44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
17But we, brothers and sisters, being separated from you for a short time—in person, not in heart—made every effort, with great longing, to see you face to face.
8If we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.
4to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
23I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better;

7But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
11For if what was passing away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of what remains!
12Since we have such a hope, we act with great boldness,
13while we await the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
19If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
12We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart.
18Therefore, encourage one another with these words.
30because we are members of His body.
