12 For this is our boast: The testimony of our conscience is that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity, not relying on worldly wisdom but on God's grace.
13 For we write nothing to you other than what you can read and understand, and I hope that you will fully understand,
22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father, he has served with me in the work of the gospel.
23 Therefore, I hope to send him as soon as I see how things go with me.
