7so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more valuable than gold that perishes though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
22Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth so that you have sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart.
11We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that your hope may be fully realized.
3Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about our common salvation, I felt it necessary instead to write and urge you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
9And this is my prayer, that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.
10So that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.
6in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love;
14Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these things, make every effort to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless.
15Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that your progress may be evident to all.
1Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and every kind of slander.
2Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk so that by it you may grow in your salvation,
9because you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
4And endurance produces character, and character produces hope.
10But you have closely followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, and endurance.
5The goal of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith.
15And I will also make every effort to ensure that after my departure, you will always be able to remember these things.
7In all things, present yourself as an example of good works, with integrity, dignity, and incorruptibility in your teaching.
14But you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you have learned it.
15And from childhood you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
3We remember your work produced by faith, your labor motivated by love, and your endurance inspired by the hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father.
3We always ought to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of each one of you for one another is increasing.
10But the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered for a little while, will Himself restore, establish, strengthen, and uphold you.
11But you, man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
22Flee from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
24Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless in the presence of His glory with great joy,
