15All this is for your benefit, so that grace, having increased through the many, may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
1Finally, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, just as you received instructions from us on how you ought to live and please God, that you would excel even more.

12So with yourselves, since you are eager for spiritual gifts, seek to excel in building up the church.
7It is right for me to think this way about you all, because I have you in my heart; whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, you all share in God’s grace with me.
