8 Flee! Turn back! Hide deep in the caves, O inhabitants of Dedan, for I will bring calamity upon Esau at the time of my punishment.

4 You will let go of your inheritance that I gave to you, and I will make you serve your enemies in a land you do not know, because you have kindled a fire in my anger that will burn forever.
19 They carve meat on the right, but they are still hungry; they devour on the left, but they are not satisfied. Each eats the flesh of his own arm.
11 I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the proud and humble the pride of the ruthless.

37 I will shatter Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their lives. I will bring disaster upon them, my fierce anger, declares the LORD. I will send the sword after them until I have finished them off.
