16On the morning of the third day, there was thunder and lightning, a thick cloud on the mountain, and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people in the camp trembled.
5Let darkness and deep shadow claim it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let blackness of the day terrify it.
22Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.
10So they took soot from a furnace and stood before Pharaoh. Moses tossed it into the air, and festering boils broke out on both people and animals.

15The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will withdraw their brightness.
8Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 'Take handfuls of soot from a furnace, and have Moses toss it into the air in the presence of Pharaoh.'
10Moses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the Israelites go out of his land.
44It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.

10'So now go! I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.'

10As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians marching after them! They were terrified and cried out to the LORD.
12When Moses' hands grew heavy, they took a stone and placed it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other, so his hands remained steady until sunset.
