Moses said to the LORD, 'See, You have been telling me, ‘Lead this people,’ but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have found favor in My eyes.’

20 But He added, 'You cannot see My face, for no one can see Me and live.'
13 But Moses said to the LORD, "The Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.
14 They will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, LORD, are among these people, that you, LORD, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.
11 So Moses said to the LORD, 'Why have You brought trouble on Your servant? Why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You lay the burden of all these people on me?
12 Did I conceive all these people? Did I give birth to them? Why do You tell me to carry them in my arms, like a nurse carries an infant, to the land You promised their ancestors?
10 'So now go! I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.'
11 But Moses said to God, 'Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?'
12 God reassured him, 'I will certainly be with you. And this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.'
13 Then Moses said to God, 'Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, "The God of your ancestors has sent me to you," and they ask me, "What is his name?" What should I tell them?'
14 God replied to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: "I AM has sent me to you."'
9 He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, O Lord, please let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our iniquity and our sin, and make us Your inheritance."
15 Moses spoke to the LORD, saying:
