13Is anyone among you suffering hardship? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises.
13Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show his works by his good conduct with the humility that comes from wisdom.
5When someone realizes their guilt in one of these matters, they must confess the sin they have committed.
13Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.
10Harsh discipline comes to those who forsake the right path; anyone who hates correction will die.
2Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of various kinds,
19But if you warn the wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die in his sin, but you will have saved yourself.
20Again, if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and does wrong, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die in his sin. His righteous acts will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.
21But if you warn a righteous person not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he heeded the warning, and you will have saved yourself.
21Restore us to yourself, LORD, so we may return; renew our days as of old.
5Beloved, you are acting faithfully in whatever you do for the brothers, especially when they are strangers.
6Some have departed from these and turned aside to meaningless talk.

10I am confident in the Lord that you will think no other way. The one who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
8Instead, you yourselves wrong and cheat—and you do this to your brothers and sisters.
5They said, 'Turn now, each of you, from your evil way and from your evil actions. Dwell in the land that the LORD gave to you and your ancestors forever and ever.
6Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord evil is avoided.
3The priest shall put on his linen garment and wear linen undergarments on his body. He shall remove the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar and place them beside the altar.
5And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: "My son, do not take lightly the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when you are reproved by Him."
