2 In that day, the branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and splendor of the survivors of Israel.
26 For the LORD saw how bitter the suffering of Israel was; there was no one to help, neither slave nor free.
31 You people of this generation, consider the word of the LORD: ‘Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of deep darkness? Why do my people say, “We are free to roam; we will come to you no more”?’
