7 In this place, I will ruin the plans of Judah and Jerusalem. I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies and at the hands of those who seek their lives. I will give their dead bodies as food to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the earth.

14 You will eat but not be satisfied, and your emptiness will remain within you. You will store up but not save, and what you do save, I will give over to the sword.

12 Even if they fast, I will not listen to their cry; even if they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will consume them by sword, famine, and plague.
