17The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.
18What does it matter? Regardless, in every way—whether from false motives or in truth—Christ is proclaimed. And in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice.
19For I know that through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, this will result in my deliverance.
20My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed in anything, but that with all boldness, now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

30since you are experiencing the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.
6That gospel has come to you. It is bearing fruit and growing all over the world, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood the grace of God.
12so that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be to the praise of His glory.
15All this is for your benefit, so that grace, having increased through the many, may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
8which He lavished on us in all wisdom and understanding.
18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
