12Therefore I will not be negligent to always remind you of these things, though you know them and are established in the present truth.
19This hope we have as an anchor for the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the inner sanctuary behind the veil,
5For our gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and in full conviction; as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
2For you know perfectly that the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night.
19And are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; He made the stars also.
17And God set them in the sky of the heavens to give light upon the earth,
3According to his divine power, he has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to glory and virtue:
4By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
1Therefore we ought to give more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life;
19And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

20He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
