16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; they will have no one to bury them—neither them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters—for I will pour their wickedness upon them.
6 You have forsaken me, says the LORD, you have gone backward: therefore I will stretch out my hand against you, and destroy you; I am weary with repenting.
7 And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people, since they do not return from their ways.
8 The priests did not say, Where is the LORD? and those who handle the law did not know me: the shepherds also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
9 Therefore I will yet plead with you, says the LORD, and with your children's children will I plead.
2 Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth: for the LORD has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
5 Therefore you shall fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with you in the night, and I will destroy your mother.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being a priest to me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
20 Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom You have done this. Shall the women eat their offspring, the children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?
21 The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men have fallen by the sword; You have slain them in the day of Your anger; You have killed, and not pitied.
2 And the rebels are deep in slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.
13 Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
5 Thus says the LORD, What wrong have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have followed idols, and have become idolaters?

21 For the pastors have become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
18 Your way and your deeds have procured these things for you; this is your wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reaches to your heart.
19 Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord GOD of hosts.
22 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
6 And the sword shall remain on his cities, and shall destroy his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
24 and my wrath shall grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows and your children fatherless.
9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD:
2 Therefore, thus says the LORD God of Israel against the shepherds who feed my people: You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your deeds, says the LORD.

15 Why do you cry over your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable because of the multitude of your iniquity: because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.

17 And they shall eat up your harvest, and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat: they shall eat up your flocks and your herds: they shall eat up your vines and your fig trees: they shall impoverish your fortified cities, wherein you trusted, with the sword.

20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
8 I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her cubs, and will tear the covering of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.
14 Your prophets have seen vain and foolish things for you: and they have not revealed your iniquity, to turn away your captivity; but have seen for you false burdens and causes of banishment.
4 And I will not have mercy on her children; for they are the children of whoredoms.
12 Thus says the LORD: Though they be at peace and likewise many, yet they shall be cut down when he passes through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
31 Therefore have I poured out My indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, says the Lord GOD.
13 You have plowed wickedness, you have reaped iniquity; you have eaten the fruit of lies: because you trusted in your own way, in the multitude of your mighty men.
3 O LORD, are not your eyes upon the truth? You have stricken them, but they have not grieved; you have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says the LORD.
17 Therefore thus says the LORD; Your wife shall be a harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you shall die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity from his land.
20 Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says the LORD.
