11Now also are many nations gathered against you, that say, 'Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gaze upon Zion.'
20Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, like a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of your God.
19Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of those who dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? Is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images and strange idols?
19For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, 'How are we ruined! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.'
12Therefore for your sake Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
14And he shall break it as the breaking of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found among its fragments a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water from the pit.
18Son of man, the house of Israel is to Me like dross: all of them are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
10The hands of the compassionate women have cooked their own children; they were their food in the destruction of the daughter of my people.
20Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom You have done this. Shall the women eat their offspring, the children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?
11And shall say to them, Thus says the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, until there is no place left to bury.
5Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my precious pleasant things.
14For your servants take pleasure in her stones and favor the dust thereof.
31For I have heard a voice as of a woman in labor, and the anguish as of her that brings forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewails herself, that spreads her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.
3And their nobles have sent their little ones to the water; they came to the wells and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.

5Those who ate delicacies are desolate in the streets; those who were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.
6For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown in a moment, and no hands stayed on her.
7Her Nazirites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk; they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their appearance was like sapphire.
8The Lord has purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: He has stretched out a line, He has not withdrawn His hand from destroying: therefore He made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.
19They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD; they shall not satisfy their souls, nor fill their stomachs, because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.
13Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze, and you shall beat in pieces many people, and I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.
9You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
17Zion spreads forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD has commanded concerning Jacob that his adversaries should be all around him: Jerusalem is like a menstruous woman among them.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
4The ways of Zion mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
