7And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.
20Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says the LORD.
21A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.
13Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
25Withhold your foot from being unshod, and your throat from thirst: but you said, There is no hope: no; for I have loved foreign gods, and after them I will go.
11You also made a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool; but you have not looked to its maker, neither had respect to him who fashioned it long ago.
6My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
4Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children who are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger, they have gone away backward.

7How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.
30For you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.
