23But now having no more place in these regions, and having a great desire these many years to come to you,

8Therefore I urge you to confirm your love toward him.
9For to this end I also wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in all things.
18The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that day, and you know very well how many things he ministered to me at Ephesus.
15And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, while he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.
20Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord: refresh my heart in the Lord.
21Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.
22But meanwhile, also prepare a lodging for me, for I trust that through your prayers I shall be granted to you.
15Moreover, I will make every effort that you may always remember these things after my departure.
12Having many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
5For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
14But I trust I shall shortly see you, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.
11Let no one despise him. But send him on his way in peace so he can come to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers.
12As for our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers, but he was not willing to come at this time; he will come when he has the opportunity.

1Therefore, when we could no longer endure it, we thought it best to be left alone at Athens;

23Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me.
19But I urge you all the more to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.
20For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state.
