  • 21keep yourselves in the love of God, as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you eternal life.

  • 7But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in the love we inspired in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

  • 13Make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.

  • 8This saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for all people.

  • 14He called you to this through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
