  • 9 The LORD said to Moses, 'Behold, I am coming to you in a dense cloud so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may always believe in you.' Then Moses reported the people's words to the LORD.

  • 13 But Moses said to the LORD, "The Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them.

  • 16 I saw that you had sinned against the LORD your God. You had made a molten calf for yourselves. You had quickly turned aside from the way the LORD had commanded you.

  • 18 And now you are turning away from the LORD today! If you rebel against the LORD today, tomorrow He will be angry with the entire assembly of Israel.

  • 23 Then Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they brought the one who had cursed out of the camp and stoned him. The Israelites did as the LORD commanded Moses.

  • 2 Speak now in the hearing of the people, and let every man ask his neighbor and every woman her neighbor for articles of silver and gold.

  • 2 Only Moses is to approach the LORD; the others must not come near, and the people must not go up with him.
