42 Do not go up, because the LORD is not with you; you will be defeated by your enemies.'
3 No one may come up with you, and no one should be seen anywhere on the mountain; even the flocks and herds must not graze near the mountain.
23 Do not follow the customs of the nations that I am driving out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.
24 But I said to you, 'You will inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.' I am the LORD your God, who has set you apart from the peoples.
27 'Let me pass through your land. I will travel only on the road and will turn neither to the right nor to the left.
21 Furthermore, the LORD was angry with me because of you and swore that I would not cross the Jordan nor enter the good land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.
22 I will die in this land; I am not crossing the Jordan, but you are about to cross over and take possession of that good land.
11 Then the LORD said to me, 'Arise, set out ahead of the people so that they may go and take possession of the land that I swore to their ancestors to give to them.'

33 who went before you on the way to scout out a place for you to camp, by night in the fire to show you the way you should go, and by day in the cloud.
3 Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, saying, "This is what you shall say to the house of Jacob and declare to the children of Israel:
