  • 7then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. Israel will then become a proverb and an object of ridicule among all peoples.

  • 6My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

  • 11But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past, declares the LORD of Hosts.

  • 6'You have rejected Me,' declares the LORD. 'You keep going backward. So I have stretched out My hand against you and destroyed you; I am tired of relenting.'

  • 12Therefore, this is what I will do to you, Israel, and because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel.

  • 13Instead, they followed the stubbornness of their hearts and went after the Baals, as their fathers taught them.

  • 12I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.

  • 8'Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth. Yet, I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,' declares the Lord.
